Topical issues in the field of human resources were discussed at a joint business breakfast of Atsearch Group HR community and Rosatom Corporate Academy
In the face of uncertainty and high volatility of all social processes, the meaning and place of work in everyone's life is being redefined. For employees, work becomes not just an economic exchange of knowledge and skills for money, but also a support in the struggle against new challenges of our time. According to Edelman Trust Barometer, 77% of employees around the world trust their employer, another 74% trust their colleagues, and 66% trust the head of their organization.
Over 80 HRDs and HR executives from major Russian and foreign companies joined the Human Centricity in 2023 business breakfast organized by Atsearch Group HR community and Rosatom Corporate Academy. At the meeting, panelists discussed the change in approaches to corporate governance in the ideology of long-term partnership with employees and all stakeholders.
The report by Gulnara Bikkulova, Deputy General Director of Rosatom Corporate Academy, gave a starting point for the discussion of the main topic of HR-leaders meeting: Human-Centricity Index of Companies: Principles and Philosophy. In her report, the speaker shared the results of a pilot measurement of the Index. A total of 120 companies from Russia, the CIS and BRICS took part in the 2022 research. The research method was a survey of executives of HR departments and companies using a structured questionnaire with 44 questions: the first type of questions is a subjective assessment; the other one is quantitative data about the company.
The Index assesses companies' efforts in creating an enabling environment for employees’ personal development where the functioning of a sustainable HR system is impacted by the involvement of each individual, the atmosphere in the team and the community whose wellbeing is directly affected by business activities. Thus, a human-centered organization creates conditions for career growth, learning and personal well-being of an employee, corporate value through the development of company’s human capital and brings benefits to society.
"The purpose of the Index is to provide a benchmark base for the comparison of human-centered practices in Russian and foreign companies. Besides, for every manager the Index serves as a tool of diagnostics of corporate practices for supporting employees’ growth, especially taking into consideration the demand for individual development and values of each employee", said Gulnara Bikkulova, Deputy General Director of Rosatom Corporate Academy.
"Human-Centricity Index is a new tool for company diagnostics in the context of human-centricity. The index is a tool for self-diagnostics and comparison with other companies in the market and industry. Also, the research results provide data for the company about the areas in need of internal and external development in the context of human-centricity", says Yelena Morozova, partner of Atsearch HR-community.
Findings and recommendations of HR-leaders of major Russian and foreign companies taking part in the business breakfast will be presented on March 15, 2023 as part of the analytical report for the Human-Centricity Index of Companies pilot research during HR EXPO PRO Forum.
